KINO is a challenge for anyone who is interested in making films but needs a little kick in the ass!

It is a newly born group initiative to motivate film creation in Whitehorse.

How does it work?

You register as an individual or as a team, decide on a project and shoot it!

At the end of November, your film and all other projects will be presented at a public screening.

Anybody can participate, and you have total freedom of creation, as long as your project is freshly produced in the context of this event.

So stop waiting and get your camera!

It is a new born group initiative to motivate film creation in Whitehorse.

It is a challenge called upon anybody who is interested in making films but needs a little kick in the ass.

The way it works is that you register, as a team or as an individual, and get committed to produce a short film for the KINO event. You make your film with the means that you have before the projection deadline. At the end of November, all the films produced in the context of Kino are going to be shown at a public projection where you can meet and exchange with the public and all the other creators!

Kino is opened to everybody and gives total freedom of creation.

It is a movement to motivate people to create without funding, without a distributor and without a structure. It also wishes to encourage exchanges between creators.
